The Araucana (Spanish: Gallina Mapuche) is a breed of domestic chicken from Chile. Its name derives from the Araucanía region of Chile where it is believed to have originated. It lays blue-shelled eggs, one of the very few breeds that do so.
This special breed that is highly sought after due to their bright blue eggs and fun characteristics. The most noticeable is that it has no tail, this rumpless chicken also has feathers as cheeks
